Conference takes place in two cities. What kind of airplane tickets are the best solution to buy?
Buying tickets arriving to Tallinn and leaving from Helsinki might be rather expensive.  But there are 4 ferry companies operating between Tallinn and Helsinki, which will take you from one city to another fast (approx 2 hours) and comfortably. The schedule is frequent, there are several departures per hour. The ticket price is approx 30-50 EUR.

So the best solution is to buy return tickets either to Tallinn or to Helsinki depending on the more suitable offer for you.


Are the hotels which are brought out on the conference web page close to the conference location?
In both cities – Tallinn and Helsinki – the conference takes place in the city centre. It is a 5-10 minutes walk from the hotels to the conference location.  In Helsinki a few hotels might be some more minutes away, but these are  all still located in the city centre, so it is a walking distance. Check the hotels' web pages under the title "Hotels in Helsinki"  for details.


What exactly does „Visa Support” mean in the introduction of the pre-conference trip to St Petersburg?
In order to receive a Russian tourist visa a participant needs a voucher and sealed invitation letter  from the organizers of the trip.  We will soon contact everyone who has registered to the trip and let you know about the information, which a travel agency needs and the contacts where to send it.  

When will the program of the conference be published?
We will publish the first version of the program at the beginning of September.
Every presenter has 30 minutes, 20 for presentation and 10 for discussion.
